What exactly is the Canadian Experience Class?

CEC is administered using the Express Entry system and ranks applicants using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Applicants who achieve competitive CRS scores will be invited to apply for permanent residence in Canada.

Who is qualified to attend a Canadian Experience Class?

To be eligible for CEC, an applicant must have completed at least 12 months of full-time (or an equivalent number of part-time) skilled work in Canada. Canadian job experience must have been obtained within the preceding three years of the application’s date.
CEC is not available to foreign nationals who lack previous work experience in Canada.
